No Evil 03:17
“I had my portrait done by the surrealist paintress, she was famous. She left my eyes and my ears and my mouth off my head. I asked, ‘what does it mean?’ She said, ‘See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’ Never ever enter the level with the devil in it, be the clever little monkey ride it up to number seven, line it up, find your place in heaven, never look back, never look back again Oh no, no never again, never say never again See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil I’m having trouble finding double meaning in everything. I’m having trouble, burst my bubble wish my double could sing. Singing lyrics, these evil spirits, they chase me through the night. But on the flip the side, the double meaning, they guide me to the light. Never ever enter the level with the devil in it, be the clever little monkey ride it up to number seven, line it up, find your place in heaven, never look back, never look back again Oh no, no never again, never say never again See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil Oh no, no never again, never say never again See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil The famous paintress, she led me into the planet in the garden down the path. Before I jumped in she took my photograph - my face had no features.”

about

Julian Temple Band Dunedin, New Zealand

“Julian Temple Band create sprawling landscapes within their songs. Their tunes are like sweat-soaked fever dreams; surreal hallucinations that leave you feeling as though you’re staggering through a slice of vast and desolate desert. There’s a coldness in their songs, but an equally powerful warmth to counteract.” - Happy Mag, Australia ... more
